PROGRAM/OFFICE SUPPORT
- USAMMDA - Support to the US Army Medical Materiel Development Activity,
the Army's principal developer of medical materiel and equipment. USAMMDA interacts
regularly with the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC), research
laboratories, and Research Area Directorates (RAD). In addition, frequent coordination
is required with Department of Defense (DOD) and U.S. Army staff, including the Deputy
Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, the Assistant Secretary of the Army
for Research, Development and Acquisition, and the U.S. Army Surgeon General. USAMMDA
also develops and manages Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRDA) for
medical research and other projects which will benefit from public/private partnerships
(agreements between the Army and private academic centers being the most common). To
learn more about CCC's past military support task order contracts,

Ongoing support to Office of Women in Development for Fourth World Conference on Women,
held in Beijing, China on September 4-15, 1995, and follow-up activities which helped
to ensure that the issues raised at the Beijing Conference remained focal points for the U.S.
Government's development policy, planning, and programming around the world. CCC's role
included formulation and implementation of a communication strategy for the Office of
